Play Me

Play me the songs of your heart
every note a different melody
of all the love you've ever held inside
Play me the songs of your heart
every word a different song
you've never sung before

Play me the songs of your heart
every single one a different version
of all the love you've held close

Play me the songs of your heart
every melody a different side
of all of who you are

Play me the songs of your heart
every different one no one else has ever heard
I want to hear them all
in this and every lifetime

Longing

I long to feel your fingers
making pathways on my skin
trace the story of our love
until it's burned in my memory
through love's passionate embrace

Follow the outline of every needle's stroke
the tattoos tell a story
you can trace with your tongue
until whispers become screams
into night air of passions flung

Whisper in my ear your secret longing
your hopes
your dreams
your fears
We'll make our love reality
Something we hold dear

Love Me

Love Me like I'm the last love you'll ever have
like the Universe dwells in my eyes
like all our tomorrows are contained
in the words we whisper to each other
Love Me like I'm the first love you ever learned
like everything is always fresh
like all our kisses are new
lips pressed tight, sealing in our destiny

Love Me like I'm the only love you've ever experienced
like there has never been anyone before me
like the rest of the world is forgotten
as we touch, electricity between fingertips

Love Me like it's forever
then it will be

Chains

Often we hold our own chains
Stretching them against our necks
until we can barely breathe
All we need do is let go
Yet we hold so tightly
to things that no longer
serve a purpose for us
to pains of the past

Chains held like memories
tight
almost as if we can't let go
Every one of us
holds on to things
we should set free
Dark skeletons
in the back of forgotten closets

Chains wrapping around our souls
pulling us down

We hold our own chains
that we seem to forget
when we should just let go

The Crone

The Crone rose from her seat, perhaps a few too many swills of the local mead had passed her lips, but she looked around, first snapping her fingers to feel the amount of electricity in the air before she began to mumble softly under her breath.

She paused for a moment, waiting to see if anyone noticed the crackling going through the air but none had. No one had even really noticed her, drinking quietly in the corner until she decided to play around.

Despite her, long forgotten, number of years, she still liked to play a trick or two from time to time.
The lightening began to form in sharp, loud cracks between her hands, causing the wench closest to her to half turn to the sound. "You can touch it, My Dear." The Crone cackled, a half smile on her lips as the incantations grew louder. "It won't hurt you a bit. It's merely a parlor trick I learned from a long forgotten God."

She pauses for a moment, licking her dry lips. "Or perhaps you'd rather just fill my cup again, eh?" she said, clapping her hands loud enough Zed, the Tavern Owner, jumped behind the bar before once again taking her seat, a pleased smile on her ancient lips.

When life is a dick

When life is a dick
there are always friends
to get you through
to remind you of who you are

to tell you to dust yourself off
to help you pick yourself up
to tell you to get the fuck back up

When life is a dick
there are always friends
who never leave your side!

What is Love?

What is Love?
but the force the brings
two people together
the force the allows us to see
past our differences
into each other's hearts

What is Love?
but the simple things
we do for each other
blown kisses in the dark
sweet poetry whispered
in ears that dare to listen

What is Love?
but the force the drives
some to madness
yet others to beauty
inspiration is a fickle thing
What is Love?
but something that should be shared

Lil Friend

Say hello to my Lil Friend
She'll give you a kiss

It's an apocalyptic world
Where only the strong survive
Police lines no longer matter

Fashion still exists
Even if it has changed just a little
Let me friend give you a kiss
Just to change your life a bit

Then let's change the world
Fashion by fashion

You Think She's Your Puppet

You think she's your puppet that you pull the strings when in reality only she controls  where the music leads  You think she's yo...

  • Balance
In all things there must be balance for when the tables turn too much when one becomes oppressed one must fall even from the heavens rippin...
  • Hating Yourselves
I know a lot of you are hating yourselves right now I want you to know that I don't I think you're precious a gift to the Universe ...
