Bye Bye 2020

It's time to bid goodbye to 2020. A year, that for all of us has brought about so many changes, from the way we interact with each other to the ways we see that world.

It has been brought to our attention that life is even more fragile (and short) than we ever thought it was, that not everyone has the best intentions for everyone else, and that some people will believe anything. I, for one, am glad to see it go & look forward to new adventures in 2021.

Tonight, I'm going to snuggly my pupper in front of the best tree I've ever seen & think about what life means to me. I hope you'll make time for yourself, to reflect & to love the person you are.

You are worth it.

Holiday Sun

I've decided to cast off the winter cold blues by taking a little sun filled vacation in SL. After all, where else can you vacation in the warmth with a book and have no one else bothering you?

Since it is my vacation, I decided to take my cute little pets with me to soak up a bit of water and a little sun.

As you can see they make excellent masseuses who work for a cube and a bit. I hope Y'all have time to find a little warm as you celebrate this Holiday Season and that 2021 blesses you more than you can imagine.

The Fates

What is it the Fates have to show

Secrets, stories, tales yet to be told

The Fates tell us through the tiles

a million different lives to smile

They bring to light the what is held in darkness

telling us to their voice hearken

Spread the tiles,

learn the path

follow it or face their wrath

What is it the Fate have to show

listen closely then you'll know

Naughty List

Wandering the neighborhood what should appear

why Santa's sleigh all chromed and red

No reindeer that would need fed

I think I'll take a seat

who wouldn't want to take a ride

peek at the presents kept inside

I think I'll take this for a spin

hope to get it back once again

So Santa can be on his merry way

To me it won't matter for you see,

it's already the Naughty List for me

Holiday Magic

 Holiday Magic is all around

You don't have to look in presents

for it to be found

It is found in the smile

of the stranger's eyes you see

In the warmth of love

between you and me

When you open those gifts

think of those near & far

who you hold in your heart

Release your love

that's Holiday Magic

at its heart.

Magic of Christmas

Won't someone

make me some coffee please? I'm sure I could drink at least one of these cups full. Don't you see my longing while I stare away with only empty cups to start my day?

I'm sure these donuts would taste better after a little dunk in that tasty, creamer laced stuff.

Won't someone please make me some coffee? I'll give you a big squeeze around the neck if you do!

Santa Selfie

Wandering the outskirts when what to my wandering eye should appear but Santa in a pink caddy! Now you might think this could never be but I can assure you it was.

Quickly I pulled out my phone because without it I never leave home. Wandered up to the car to begin snapping a few photos. Santa didn't seem to mind as I took my time.

A selfie here and a selfie there, excuse me Santa while I stare.

I managed to get all the photos I wanted before he sped away, saying "What? You ALWAYS thought I used a sleigh?"

Sleigh all day

I'm thinking about having a party here in my little neck of the woods which means I need to sleigh all day to get this place decorated.

Maybe, just maybe I can reach where I want this ornament to go without getting a step stool. Then again there are so very many ornaments to choose from! Do I want this one or that?

Oh why even choose when I can just add them all! Saving this heart one for last to put in a very special part.

I hope all of you celebrate with open hearts, smiles, and love. Much love from me to you.

Share the wealth

It's the Holiday Season so why not share the wealth while I sit around chatting with my best sister, Mira. We talk about all kinds of things while having a few laughs. Maybe even snuggle a little while we talk about how 2020 has gone for each of us.

We share the wealth of knowledge, of fun, and some joy. While sitting on the toilet paper we saving to enjoy!

We hope you have a very blessed Holiday Season and share the wealth where you can (even if it is only toilet paper).

Heya Santa

 Heya Santa,

Just want you to know I didn't know I couldn't do that while playing in the snow.

I like to dance around with the snowflakes, sing silly songs while playing.

What do you have in this bag here? Let me just take a little peek.

Don't worry, no gifts will I sneak. Oh look, there is a wish in here for a Merry Christmas to all who are far and near.

Santa, Dear, I'll hope you'll forgive my little sneak peek of all the joy that is to come, while dancing with peppermint on my tongue!
