Warrior Woman

She is a warrior

all beauty while fierce

you'd never know

the battles she's facing

from the beauty she shows

She is a warrior

all you see is what

she chooses

you don't see

the nights she cries

the hours of loneliness

She is a warrior

fighting battles

in her own heart

in her own mind

puzzles only she

can solve

She is a warrior

all beauty while fierce

fighting battles

you'll never understand

Universal Flow

The Universe flows

through us all

if we stop but for a moment

to touch the divine within

we can feel it

in the beating of our hearts

in the smiles we give to each other

in the love freely given

The Universe flows

through us all

in a divine force

we call "Love"

there is no force elsewhere

that can stop what is

the passionate musing

of poets & lyricist

nor unconditional love

The Universe flows

through us all

only we can choose

if we will share our love

Walk Through Hell

Walk through Hell

like you own the place

Grow in places

they'd never expect you to

Know that even

if you burn that bridge

to ash

you can still recover

Walk through Hell

like you own the place

Warn Heaven

this Angel can fly

without wings

Remember your strength

when all else fails

Walk through Hell

like you own the place

and let it burn

Faire Bound

Just when she thought she'd lost her way

all her magic came out to play

calling forth the dragons

to rally round

leading her to the place

where magic is always found

Beauty there is also too

Many things of wonder

for me and you

just follow the path

for wonders untold

surprise there be to behold

For at Fantasy Faire

there is something for every creature

just follow your magic

to this feature

Faire bound is she

from this modern world

back where magic runs free

Weird

She's a weirdo

so they say

she doesn't care

about them anyway

She's always been herself

quirky, different

led by her own inner voice

Her light leading her

through the darkest nights

She's a weirdo

that's never stopped her

from loving

that is what matters most

be weird

be you

be wonderful

love will follow

Communing with Spirits

She communes with the spirits

they call forth to her

telling her their secrets

as the pass between the two

the veil as thin to her

as seeing through the fog

just a few words

falling from her lips

before she speaks

for the dead

their spirits reaching forth

She'll never raise more

than she can put back down

She just gains all the knowledge

from beyond the grounds

Galaxy

We each hold our own galaxy within

though we often allow chains to hold us down

We reach for the stars

the planets we ride

through the wandering cosmos

as we learn to become so much more

than we started out as

set yourself free from the chains that

you allow to hold you where you are

so you can sail on stars

learn secrets of the Universe

to love beyond the small

into the infinite

Everything Changes

When you're feeling so much happiness

while your heart is breaking at the same time

Do they have a word for that?

For the absolute joy you can feel for another

while you feel your own quiet sadness

Everything changes

Nothing ever stays the same

You asked for this happiness for them

knowing what it meant for you

So you don't begrudge any smile that crosses their face

even as part of you dies in a small corner of your heart

Grab that happiness

All that love you deserve

My sadness will pass

It's all part of my own growth

this learning to let go

of what was mine for a time

Yet always fills all the darkest corners

of my soul with light

You saw me as the light you always were

Take the love as it comes

You deserve so much more

Everything changes

nothing stays the same

We will always have us

so grab that happiness

don't ever let go
