My heart is full of
half written love letters
to loves long forgotten
those still held dear
some yet to come
My heart is full
of half read love letters
from love I refuse to forget
love my heart holds on to
like a child with a favorite toy
My heart is full of
half written love letters
waiting to find their voice
in a world that constantly screams
My heart is full
of half read love letters
the pages torn
burnt edges smoldering
as day to turn to night
My heart is full
of half read love letters
some of which are even
to myself
