Ask me no questions

Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies
dressed in pretty packages meant to disguise
the truth that is hidden and kept from view.

What if I told you things you never knew?
Whispered truth in your ears until your mind expands.

Would you listen or close your mind?
Think of only things left behind.
Let's take a journey then we can see truths behind beauty.
Without any lies
look past beauty
to see the surprise

Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies
just truths you can't disguise

Instead of couch surfing

It's laundry day for me so instead of couch surfing, I've decided to do a little surfing on my ironing board between loads of clothes! I mean how could I pass up using this old background I found laying around?

I've been dreaming of the beach anyway.

Surf's up, even if it is only my ironing board and I have to imagine I can hear the waves!

The Past

The past tries to pull me
into its grip
silent my words
as they start to drip
fully from my lips

in words I've not spoken
to tell all the tales
of what I have seen
of what is to be
and what has been

The past tries to pull me
into its grip
I will resist with all my might
I'll share with this world
my single light
to lead the way
into the future

Don't Cry for Me

Don't cry for me
those wicked tears
that escape the corners
of your eyes

I can cry my own tears
even if I'm a little wicked
I still have a heart
that bleeds when it is broken

I can cry tears
as my wicked heart bleeds

So save your tears
don't cry for me
I can cry for myself

A little moody

Sure she's a little moody
you would be too
if you followed your heart
while it shared what you should do

Sometimes hearts leap
to places unknown
this allowing hearts
to become more grown

So sometimes she's a little moody
as her heart grows
beyond what you can see
into time and space
more vast than the oceans
deeper than the seas

that is how she learns to love
through eternity

The Wind's Secrets

The winds flows through the trees

Whipping through my hair

As it whispers secrets

Told throughout the ages

To those who care to listen

I lean to hear every word

To hear the praises sung by birds

Of worlds we fail to comprehend

The wind whispers secrets

Some for me alone

As I learn how well

My light has shone

The wind whispers secrets

As it plays with my hair

Just take a listen

If you dare

Wishes, Dreams, & Butterfly Kisses

The wind carries wishes
like dreams
and butterfly kisses

To the heavens
and far corners of the earth

Giving hope life
as it springs eternal
within my heart

Taking with it my sadness
to places unknown
as my heart
finds its home

Hope brought on the wind
from places unknown
like wishes, dreams, & butterfly kisses

Your opinion of me doesn't matter

You opinion isn't important to me
I don't care what you think
who you believe I should be
what you think I should do
or say

I am myself
Am who I choose to be
Your opinion isn't necessary
to help me see I'm me

My words are my own
I'll say what I will
If you don't like any of that
you know where the exit is

I don't need you in my life
if you are trying to change
the essence of me

I will be me
nothing and no one more
nothing and no one less
