White Rabbit

 Follow the white rabbit

down the rabbit hole

how far down it goes

only you know

Does it contain

your deepest desires

or your darkest secrets

Are they one and the same

Something completely different

A combination of the two

Will you survive to

tell your tale?

You'll never know

if you don't take

the chance

follow the white rabbit

Reality

The opinion of others

will never be my reality

They have tried to

use it to bring me

down to their level

however, I bow to none

Keep your opinions

to yourself

I enjoy what I believe

my world filled with love

it's a party here

Nothing others say

can change what I

will continue to do

which is love

the lost, lonely, forgotten

The opinion of others

will never be my reality

don't let it be yours

Undead Love

They say some love never dies

that some hold on forever

but can't a lady get a break

the bones are still hanging around

wanting to get some action

I mean I've heard of love hold on

but this is a little ridiculous

I thought I put this lover

in the grave a while ago

my roses were even looking

so beautiful

I guess there is only one thing

left to do

put them down the proper way

because we all deserve a little rest

Darkness Calls

In the darkness she calls

out to those who would listen

the music of the darkness

drawing out desires

thought buried

kept hidden

she brings into

Bedroom

There is something about the intimacy of my bedroom that makes me love being in that space so much. An old fashioned quilt reminding me of the ones I used to make with my Grams keeps my cozy at night which all the precious gems I've collected help keep me grounded.

The things I think about when I'm alone in my bedroom are vast, thinking about everything, yet nothing. I have epiphanies and disasters all within the same train of thought.

Then wonder why I can't sleep some nights. When I do close my eyes,

my sleep is there for its few hours then gone again.

My bedroom, my place of peace and thoughts yet to take place, where poetry has yet to take form.
