All the People Who Will Love You

There are so many people
who will love you
that you haven't
even met
the person who
you happen to
have that rare
conversation with
who becomes
your best friend

that random stranger
who you meet online
they are going
to love you
because you know
about that random thing
that person
who hears your laugh
only to see
your smile
lights up a room

there are so
very many people
who are still
out there
just waiting
to love you
All the people
who will love you
are waiting for you
to stay

Pitch Black

You think all she is
is pitch black
that her heart
feels nothing at all
when in fact
she feels all
every pain
a dagger to
her heart

You think all she is
is pitch black
when her rays
shine through
to help
those who ask

You think all she is
is pitch black
when that is
your own little ray
because you've forgotten
how to love

Quiet Freedom

There is, some say,
a quiet freedom about her
in the stillest of space
where no one can hear
what she has to say
everyone can her scream
for the freedom of all

There is, some say,
a quiet freedom about her
in the way she carries
the dreams of others
set free as they are
allowed to fly

There is, some say,
a quiet freedom about her
in the stillness of her
as she wanders through
the vastness of worlds
carrying dreams to places
never seen before

Doll

She's not your doll
even if you try
you'll never get
to know her
Do you want
to know why?

You won't take
the time
for conversations
for walks in the moonlight
for star gazing
for comfortable silences

She's not your doll
too good for that
I hope she only
sees it too

Angels

Who are we to say
what comprises an angel
are those who have seen
the worst
been through the worst
not angels?

Are those who give
the most
who put others first
not angels?
Are the ones that
we often ignore
the most saintly
among us all?
Dirt on their faces
hide the beauty within

There is so much
about a person
we will never see
if we don't take
the chance
to have a conversation

Angels with broken wings
with dirty faces
with broken hearts
that just need
a helping hand
so they can soar

Art of Music

The Art of Music
can tame a monster
held within our very souls
can make us realize
that we aren't so different
can make us cry
tears that need releasing
can make us understand
that everybody drops

The Art of Music
can make us pause
to see that we need each other
can cause realizations
that we can change
can make us become
better than we were

The Art of Music
can make us better humans
Ophelia March

Daughter of the Moon

I am a daughter of the moon
born of darkness
brought into the light
I shine
even in the darkest of nights
I am a daughter of the moon
possessing powers
most cannot even
begin to imagine

I am a daughter of the moon
my beauty
more than skin deep
if you take the chance
to get to know me

I am a daughter of the moon
who will never quit
never be quiet
never surrender
never stop loving

You Think She's Your Puppet

You think she's your puppet that you pull the strings when in reality only she controls  where the music leads  You think she's yo...

  • Balance
In all things there must be balance for when the tables turn too much when one becomes oppressed one must fall even from the heavens rippin...
  • Hating Yourselves
I know a lot of you are hating yourselves right now I want you to know that I don't I think you're precious a gift to the Universe ...
