Power

There's an inner power
within us all
when we listen to our inner call
to be who we are meant to be
without worrying what others think

That inner power screams
when it wants out
helping you learn what you're all about

There's an inner power
within us all
that we depend on when we fall
to lift us out of where we land

Listen to it's call
singing your own song
of the power within us all

Game Over

You know the game is over, you know the time has come, when you look around to find puppies stealing the pizza you bought, cokes all over the place, and a mess you left while trying to beat the latest boss.

The game is over, it's time to eat, never mind those little doggy feet resting on you as he eats his stolen slice.

Remember though the game is over, sharing your pizza is still nice.

Hooping around the neighborhood

Let's get barefoot, grab a hula hoop, and hoop around the neighborhood like when we were kids.

We can see how flexible we still are! I used to love hooping, hardly ever leaving my house without my hoop. I've missed it so much!

Plus, it is a lot of fun. Legs all stretched out to wind the hoop around,

curving my hips to make it float, and just having such a good time.

I hope you'll join me for hooping sometime.

Can't tame me

Think you can tame me?
Go ahead and try
In the end, you'll be the one to cry.

I have a wild heart
full of mystery
It belongs to only those
I find dear to me

You can try to tame me
It will never work
I'll always choose
who to love

My heart is My own
You can never tame me

Crack me open

Crack me open
pulling me in
you may not like what you perceive as my sin

What I hold within my mind
may not be the treasure you seek
there are doors closed there
that should remain sealed
should you choose to

crack them open
I will pull you in to
to the distant lands within my mind
filled with memories
some not so fine

So crack me open
if you dare
you'll be pulled in
to stay there

Fill It

Fill it
Fill your life with adventure
in whatever way you choose
Seek adventure
seek life
seek love
seek what makes you happy

Fill it
Fill your life with a fighter's spirit
then you can always face what's thrown at you
with a fierceness they'll never see coming

Fill it
Fill your life with your essence
the spirit of your soul
let others see who you are
your life will never be dull

Fill it
Fill your life with everything
you want it to be

Spring Flowers

She stops to smell the spring flowers
perhaps to pick a few to put in a little basket
to share them with you

She stops to smell the spring flowers
not caring about the hours
as the go by with in the world

She stops to smell the spring flowers
to make a little wish on the petals
for love for all

Sat around

Sat around thinking of you
all the things we used to share
Your way with sarcastic words
all the laughs we shared

Sat around thinking of you
all the things that might have been
the things that never were
all that can never be again

Sat around thinking of you
all the smiles on my face
Knowing that nothing could ever erase
all the memories in my heart

Sat around thinking of you
all the reasons we had to part
Know someday we'll meet again
all will be as one

Sat around thinking of you
all the times to come in some distant future
And I smiled

Best friend

Who says a country chick's only best friend is a dog? There are always horses to help her fill her time. They make great, caring pets who always enjoy the time spent together.

Give one an apple or a carrot along with a few strokes on the muzzle & you'll make a friend for life. This chick great up riding horses so knows their value not only as work horses around the farm but also as a best friend.

Besides, who doesn't love an animal you can run away on?

You Think She's Your Puppet

You think she's your puppet that you pull the strings when in reality only she controls  where the music leads  You think she's yo...

  • Balance
In all things there must be balance for when the tables turn too much when one becomes oppressed one must fall even from the heavens rippin...
  • Hating Yourselves
I know a lot of you are hating yourselves right now I want you to know that I don't I think you're precious a gift to the Universe ...
