Tried to put me in their box

They've tried to put me in their boxes
Label me with their crosses
Make me be the one they want
Try to change me with their taunts

I am different from the rest
Working towards being my best
I don't care what they think
when they clamor in their little circle

I will rise above the rest
Until I can share my very best

with the world for them to see
they can't box me
Talu/Togli

Quiet Silences

In quiet silences I hear your voice
telling me secrets of love and vice
You call to me with your love
telling me stories from above

Letting me know how the universe plays out
leaving me with very little doubt
that love is the answer

it is the key
to hearing between the silences
if only one takes time to listen

Dreams

What dreams they say are made of this
love, hugs, a soft little kiss
I dream of you by light of dusk
my thoughts wandering as they must

Dreams of holding you in my arms
losing myself in your charms

What dreams they say are made of this
love surrendered yet never missed

Vintage Hippy

She's a little vintage but definitely hippy. She loves the Earth & all its creatures.

She can tell you 50 ways to grow tomatoes while swearing because it's all good. She'll great you from the heart, hold you close & dear, with her arms tossed around you in the tightest hug.

She meditates daily to clear her mind & heart, to keep it steadfast for the love she always imparts.

She's a vintage hippy who can show you the way, with a little swearing & a lot of Namaste'.

I've cried a river of blood

I've cried a river of blood
From my soul
straight to my heart

It leaks from the corners
That you can't see
Dripping straight on my flesh

I've cried a river of blood
For the heartbreak of humanity

Sweet Snack

She's a sweet snack with a little bit of bitters
Unwrap her slow to discover her caged heart
She'll rock your world if you take your time
Let the pieces fall in line

She's a sweet snack with a little bit of bitters
Wandering around this plane called life
Looking for someone who won't cause her strife

She'll take you to the highest highs
Rock your world to the skies

Take your time, get to know her
You'll be the one surprised

Cupcakes & Booze

Tonight I'm going to drink a few drinks while eating these delicious cupcakes! First though, how about a few shots to go into my phone so I can remember what these delicious
little cups of cake look like pre-devour.

I can't wait to taste all that frosting, letting it swirl on my tongue for a bit as I do. You say you wanted donuts too, never fear, I've got you covered.

Now, let's knock a few back while indulging our sweet tooth & having a little fun. I'll see you there.

Stop to smell the flowers

I hope you take a little time today
to stop just to play
smell the flowers
Let your light shine
You are filled with the divine

Add a little fun
to your time in the sun
Don't forget to smile
at a stranger
even if that stranger
is yourself

Stop to smell the flowers
know that life is good

Evil Bitch

Some would say she's an evil bitch
when in truth they failed to get to know her
They carry their own illusions of who they want her to be
when she will never be what they expect

They've tried to put her the box of their limited minds
only to find she breaks free every single time

Some would say she's an evil bitch
then they'll be left behind

She is her own person
her own being
trapped in this space & time
Talu/Togli

You Think She's Your Puppet

You think she's your puppet that you pull the strings when in reality only she controls  where the music leads  You think she's yo...

  • Balance
In all things there must be balance for when the tables turn too much when one becomes oppressed one must fall even from the heavens rippin...
  • Hating Yourselves
I know a lot of you are hating yourselves right now I want you to know that I don't I think you're precious a gift to the Universe ...
