Creatures great and small

The Fairelands accepts all creatures, great and small so today I am a Dinkie. Seeing the world from a different point of view which helps me see things differently.

Upon wandering I found a door, which I chanced through to an enchanted spot. I was able to receive a nice little companion to help me on my way as I wandered more.

I decided to play in the woods, wander the streams, and just see what can be seen from this height.

Many wonderful things to feast my eyes upon from the still glistening seas to the streams and trees.

I hope you take a few moments of your day to see things from a different perspective and in doing so, you learn something new.

Wandering Frostweald

Wandering through the lands of Frostweald just doing a little dance. The cold not bothering me as I think of friends long passed. Their memories cling to my heart. Their imprints as lasting as any tattoo pressed into my skin.

I take in the beauty, like the winter of our hearts when people leave us, taken to other realms. Sometimes they leave a temporary cold spot inside of us that can only be warmed by the hearths of their memories. Like little fires of happiness that last our lifetimes.

I dance through the lands of Frostweald, stopping to warm my bones by the fires of {Roped Passions} hearth then continue on into the night, my memories to keep me company.

The Shimmering Fen

Fantasy Faire 2023 is now in full swing. Don't know what Fantasy Faire 2023 is in SecondLife? Let me give you the short version. Fantasy Faire 2023 is an event that takes place every year to help benefit the American Cancer Society. This year it takes place from April 20 - May 7, 2023. There are so many amazing sims to visit this year. I'm going to highlight a few starting with The Shimmering Fen.

In order to take in all the splendor of The Shimmering Fen one must look both high and low. Above you can see the tallest mushrooms and below you can see the shimmering seas. Along the way you can shop for a good cause.

I happen to love the look from the balcony of ~Lantian/Flox~ where I can see a lovely little garden of mushrooms and things that glow. Upon further investigation,

I was also able to find this giant, stone frog (now I wonder if someone did that to this poor frog).

Walk out into the shimmering sea to feel the light being passed along by all those you may happen to encounter. Stop to take in their beauty, remembering that you are part of the beauty of this as well as every other world. Share your light today. Hope to see you at Fantasy Faire 2023

A Picture

They say a picture paints a thousand words

I can only imagine what mine will have to say

a thousand minutes from now

a thousand days

a thousand years

I hope to convey the love I share

with all who cross my path

in whatever form they choose

My picture paints a thousand words

of what my life is

of what it can be

of where I can go

I hope you know you're welcome

to be part of my life

to come alone on my journey

to join my circle

They say a picture paints a thousand words

I hope mine speak more

Forgotten Baebies

You think you can forget

all the baebies you ever had

but thoughts of them sit

in the darkened corners

of your mind waiting

for the right moment

to spring to the light

They pound on their

plastic boxes until

you hear the noise

then they are free again

No longer another one

of your toys

Sometimes when I'm alone

Sometimes when I'm alone

I stare out the window

thinking thoughts of you

Longing to be in your arms

I close my eyes

allow my mind to wander

to the soft, gentle caresses

of your lips against mine

as the breeze teases

against the window pane

Sometimes when I'm alone

I think thoughts of you

wondering if you are

thinking of me

Everyone wants the roses

Everyone wants the roses

Most don't love the thorns

They show us the parts of ourselves

we'd rather not look at

the parts we keep hidden away

The roses are the beauty

that everyone sees

Not what's behind the mask

The thorns are what

we keep hidden

sometimes even from ourselves

When we learn to embrace

not only the soft petals of our roses

but the sharp edges of our thorns

we can truly learn to love ourselves

Then we become free

Night Witch

The night witch calls upon

the light of the stars

the might of the moon

as she brings forth

her own light

Her potions brewed

of dark and light

a mixture of

what was yet never is

everything and nothing

all at once

She calls upon

the stars

the moon

howling out their songs

for those who care to listen

Muse's Flower Beauty

If a muse were so to choose

a wondering eye to appear

Through flowers' beauty

come to pass ideas

If one stops for but a moment

to ponder the movement of it all

Then the muse is never lost

always finding the way

A Muse

She's a muse

who walks on water

through your dreams

into your waking thoughts

straight onto the words

written line by line

Her inspiration floating

like petals on the wind

swirling, forming thoughts

ideas that never end

Angels Full of Scars

The world is full of monster with friendly faces and angels full of scars...

Angels full of scars who cry themselves to sleep at night

longing to be heard

Angels who save the world

with broken wings

Angels who are sorry for everything monsters with friendly faces do

to hurt others

Angels who are held together by the tiniest scraps of hope

which bleeds out of them like pure light

Angels full of scars

so many we can't see

Who still take the time to share their light

making sure hope doesn't die

Things I love about Spring

I just love spring with all the new growth and change.

Many beautiful flowers to enjoy the fragrances of.

Fluffy bunnies to share a few carrots with.

Butterflies to dance upon the wind which carry my kisses across the world.

I want to enjoy all there is to enjoy in every moment offered to me. I hope you will do the same.
