Tiny Houses

 Tiny houses
sitting in a row
full of lives
stories all to be told

Everyone different
yet they all intertwine
strangers become friends
as they sit on porches
exchanging stories
of times gone by

Tiny houses
sitting in a row
full of possibilities
as life happens
inside and out

Wishes float in the aether
reaching the universe

twisting, turning
to fates untold

Bunny

Cute bunny some would say
as they look at this bunny play
but be wary
for a secret she hides
behind her sweet lips
is a killer

She'll kill you with kindness
love you to death
Such a cute bunny
to lure you in

you'll fall for her charms
then BAM!
You're loved right to death!

Sometimes

Sometimes the words in my head
crash upon each other in violent tones
meant to try to bring me down
At those times, I call to music
to drown them out

Melodies forming songs
I sometimes play on repeat
until the violent tones
become quiet
because sometimes I think
sometimes I don't

At those times
I let the music tell my story

Misty Morning

Misty evening falls
as the bench waits

for the jeweler to come
what beauty they see
looking out gazebo's window
as the sun sets
inspiring ideas
turned into art

as misty evening falls

Secrets in the Garden

Secrets in the garden
we will never tell
when Alice and the Queen
share a little spell

The cards tumble in wonder
at the stories they
have left to tell

Which way will they wander
this way or that
is there a wrong way
no one knows

Flower petals fallen
scattered by the wind
as the stories are spun
over tea told
Secrets in the garden
we will never tell

Relaxing by the sea

When relaxing by the sea, a hot tub is sometimes a necessity as the water in the sea can be cold. Who doesn't love to warm their bones after a cold dip?

Besides, there is nothing better than hanging out with friends of both the human and animal kind.

A few sausages on the Q make for a great dinner too! Oh, Charles! Stop stealing the sausages, you silly doggo! I hope you'll join Talu & I next time!

Bunny Magic

Springtime what can you do?
Bunnies will run as bunnies do
when love is in the air

Oh no eggs have developed
personalities all their own
It's magic in the garden
all it's own

When bunnies kiss
who knows what will happen?
Just a little magic
for a little fun!

Dip & Decor

What a beautiful day to take a little dip in my gorgeous new pool.

The sun is shining, the trees are in bloom, and the water is just right. When I'm done here, I think I'll go inside to set up the living and dining rooms in this lovely new house.

I'm liking the neutral tones of blacks and grays.

The reds of these flowers will definitely set things off against these place settings.

Now that everything is perfect for a surprise romantic dinner, I think I'll go for a little bike ride before the afternoon ends.

Lucky

They say if you have one or two really good friends
you are incredibly lucky
I've always been very lucky then
because, you see, I've always been blessed
with friends who have held my hand
when I've needed it held

whispered truths in my ear
when I needed to hear them
led me to fun
when I couldn't find my way
spoken love to my heart
when I've forgotten it exist

Yes, I've always been lucky
to have so many friends
who are indeed more family then friends
so I count myself lucky beyond measure

Spring Flowers

Sometimes you just have to find yourself some flowers
to make yourself smile
If no one else will bring you any
take the time to find some for you

As with all other things taking time for you is important
Remember you are important

Take some time today to just do a little something
to brighten your day
no matter how small that thing is
because you deserve all the best always
even if it's just flowers

Springtime

Spring, the lovely time of rebirth, renewal, new beginnings
I'm celebrating by redoing where I live
a new house
new decor
new trees
sure, why not
All things that help me look at life in a different way

even the planters smile at me
as I watch the plants grow

A nice little place to porch sit
to share some drinks with friends
telling stories while writing new memories

Deer come to share the newness of spring
as blossoms break through the soil

Perhaps a little bike ride later?
Do something today to renew yourself

Lemons

Life sometimes gives us lemons
which makes things so difficult
making adulting a thing which one
would totally not recommend

However, my friends here & I say,
when life gives you lemons,
make a mojito
Just to put a smile on your face
Remember this too will pass
Or you could just throw
the lemons at your problems!

Do something for you
when the lemons stack up
eat a burger
celebrate the small wins
Or just make silly faces in the mirror

And remember adulting is hard
even at the easiest of times

Lost

Get lost in the music
playing in your head
forget the thoughts
trying to bring you down
hum the lyrics that
make your heart sing
until you start to smile

Get lost in the music
playing in your head
the soundtrack of your life
leading you down
the roads left to wander
tap your feet
raise your hands
feel the music
in your bones

You Think She's Your Puppet

You think she's your puppet that you pull the strings when in reality only she controls  where the music leads  You think she's yo...

  • Balance
In all things there must be balance for when the tables turn too much when one becomes oppressed one must fall even from the heavens rippin...
  • Hating Yourselves
I know a lot of you are hating yourselves right now I want you to know that I don't I think you're precious a gift to the Universe ...
