Not Greenchy

Snow is falling
on decor outside
the house ready
for the fun to begin

as the whimsical
comes to play
dancing in snowflakes
this very day
There is only time
to be had
for love
and adventure
in snow's cold lands

the house waiting
the door open wide
for all of our friends
to come inside

in order to make memories
all winter long
after being outside
and playing along

Thanks

Life is short
take time to be thankful
for the simple things
because they might not
pass by you again
Love
Friendship
Sunshine
A stranger's smile
Contagious laughter
A kind gesture

Pause for just a moment
you'll see there is
so much good in the world
even when the headlines
scream the opposite
As for me
I'm going to continue
to hold doors open
tell strangers they look awesome

let my friends know
they're cherished
show people love
acceptance
Let them know
I'm thankful they
are in my life

Weightless

 In her mind she is
Weightless
no cares
no worries
no troubles
to weigh her down
Nothing that ties her
to the things that
cause the tears
to fall in puddles

In her mind she is
Weightless
her love as abundant
as the vastness
of the Universe
ever expanding
to cover
all things broken
mending

In her mind she is
Weightless
even as she struggles

Sacrifice Me

Sacrifice me
Place me on your altar
The scent of my skin
your incense

My passion
your anointment
My love
your sacrament
My sweet nectar
your wine

Sacrifice me
on your altar

Until you
are the only god I see
The one I cry out to
in screaming moans
of passion
The one I turn to
when I forget myself

Sacrifice me
Make me yours

Cozy

Cozy winter settles in
brings open doors to friends

who share the tea
with open arms
all the memories
soon stories
often told
in future gatherings

Just the beginning
of what will come
in the winter months
as cozy tales
are spun
like webs
that tie us together

even the back door
is always open for friends

Books and Sweaters

As winter closes in, there is nothing like a good book and a warm sweater to help one get through even the coldest afternoon.
To just be able to curl up on a cozy chair in a little nook full of the best book titles,

reaching over to pick a favorite, before settling down to read whatever suits my mood has always been a little pleasure of mine.

Cozy sweater, cozy socks, plus a book to carry me away to far away places my mind can dream up from the words written across pages describing people I've never known and places I've never been. I've often asked friends to send me their favorite books as gifts so I can get to know them better. I hope, this season, you're able to find a cozy little nook to curl up with your favorite book to enjoy a little time with your imagination as the words fly across the pages.

Much love to all of you - O

Even the Saddest Girl

Even the saddest girl
can be full of hope
when the tears are falling
her light still shimmers
each tear a drop
falling into a lake
opening the Universe
into something more

Even the saddest girl
can be full of hope
for something you
would never understand
for love that you
could never comprehend
as the darkness tries
to eat her alive

Even the saddest girl alive
can be full of hope
in ways unknown
to those around her
in ways difficult to know

Even the saddest girl alive
can be full of hope
as tears fall down her face
because love is endless
hope is bottomless

As Winter Settles In

As winter settles in
we retreat to the warm
comforts of our cozy homes

neighbors come to
share our couches
with tales to be told

As winter settles in
we create things
that are trapped
in our minds
we share with the world

As winter settles in
our homes become
the comforts that
we've always needed
where families are created

As winter settles in
the door is always open
for friends to come in
share their favorite book
tell their tales
share love

You Think She's Your Puppet

You think she's your puppet that you pull the strings when in reality only she controls  where the music leads  You think she's yo...

  • Balance
In all things there must be balance for when the tables turn too much when one becomes oppressed one must fall even from the heavens rippin...
  • Hating Yourselves
I know a lot of you are hating yourselves right now I want you to know that I don't I think you're precious a gift to the Universe ...
