They have silenced us
since the times of old
when women of knowledge
were called "witches"
They have silenced us
with their "Good 'ol boys"
who were anything but
They have silenced us
with their "what about his future"
while ours were destroyed
They have silenced us
with their words
with their actions
They have always tried
to silence us
No wonder they're mad
we refuse to stay silent
