The Moon fell from the sky
dragging stars with her
streaking through the atmosphere
Reflecting the light into the darkness
Her story told in ancient myths
legends long forgotten
She fell one day to touch the sun
if only for a moment
before she was pulled once more
enveloped by the twinkle
of all the stars
