Winter blows gently the winds of change
as the snow falls to the ground softly in hushed tones
the Earth sleeps, waiting for Spring
Winter brings time to reflect on what has been
time to dream on what is to come in the future yet untold
Winter lets us slumber in the soft silences in between
while we renew ourselves for the long walk ahead
Winter softly blows the cold through our lives
clearing away what was to make way for what will be
