I used to think one had to find
their way to happiness
like a stranger
hitchhiking along a lonely path
until I learned that a lot of happiness
stems from how we choose
to look at the world
Some people are always running
from one thing to the next
searching for what they
already have inside
We, each, have the ability
to be thankful for who we are
to choose happiness
to choose Love
We don't need to be bystanders
travelers in our own lives
We can look within
to find the happiness
we so long for
